Welcome to WoW Geeks, the World of Warcraft fansite by geeks, for geeks. WoW Geeks is dedicated to releasing guides and developing tools for the geek in all of us — guides for cooking ingredients, profession reagents, non-combat pets, mounts, faction reputation, achievements — and tools for tracking your in-game collections, such as recipes, mounts, pets, and more!
Here's what we've got so far:
- Our Food Guide answers the question, “What do I do with this raw meat or fish I've looted?”
- Our Pet Guide shows you all of the currently obtainable non-combat (vanity) pets in WoW, and where & how to get them.
- Our Recipe Tracker allows you to manage and organize the various Cooking recipes that you have and/or need. You can assign collections to specific characters that you play, or to your entire account (“globally”).
- Our Pet Tracker lets you manage and organize which non-combat companion pets you have and/or need. Like the Recipe Tracker, you can assign collections to specific characters or your entire global account.
Coming soon:
- Our Mount Guide will list all of the mounts in WoW — ground, aquatic, and flying — and where & how to obtain them.
- Our Fishing Guide will show you the non-junk skill levels for Fishing in all areas of the game, as well as fishing pools and random drops that you may very well fish up.
- Our Reputation Guide will list all of the factions in the game, and which quests and/or dailies gain (or lose) reputation with each one.
- Our Skinning Guide will list all of the different types of hides, leathers, and skins you can farm from various beasts, and where the best locations are for farming each one.
- Our Herbalism Guide will contain a list of each herb and which zones are the best places to farm for each one.
